Lloyd Gene Swiney, 75 of Belcher, KY passed away Wed., September 24, 2014 at his residence. Lloyd was born June 12, 1939 at Ashcamp, KY to the late Simon Swiney & Emma Stapleton Swiney. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Grady Swiney & one sister, Mary Elizabeth Kinney. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Carol Sue Wright Swiney of Belcher, KY, one son, Lloyd Gene Swiney, II of Ruskin, FL and two daughters, LaGeni Justice & Emilie Rene Adams both of Elkhorn City, KY. He is also survived by three brothers, Tommy Swiney of Sarasota, FL, Earl Gene Swiney of Jasper, AL & Donn Swiney of Shelbyville, KY; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be after 6PM Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 at the Elkhorn City Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at 1PM from the church with DAV rites performed by the Elkhorn City Chapter #140.
