Bennie Ray Tackett, 58 of Ashcamp, KY passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at his residence. Bennie was born August 11, 1960 at Pikeville, KY to the late Stoney Tackett & Martha Moore Silcox. In addition to his parents, Bennie was preceded in death by two brothers, James Tackett & Brian Keith Tackett and one sister, Donna Fleming. Bennie is survived by his wife, Teresa Ratliff Tackett of Ashcamp, KY; one son, Nathanael Tackett of Elkhorn City, KY; two daughters, Amber Tackett of Ashcamp, KY & Megan Tackett of Pikeville, KY; and twelve grandchildren, Ryan, Brant, Jonathan & Cashden Tackett, Mack & Kayla Branham, Paden, Alex & Eli Robinson, Riley & Ryan Perez and Justin Branham. Bennie is also so survived by two brothers, Garret Tackett of Virgie, KY & DeWayne Tackett of Elkhorn City, KY and one sister, Teresa Doyle of Elkhorn Creek, KY. Visitation will be after 6PM Tuesday, August 13 & Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Elkhorn Independent Church with services nightly at 7PM. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 1PM from the church with Garrett Tackett & Adam Akers officiating. Burial will follow at the Bennie Tackett Cemetery, Ashcamp, KY.
