Elva Maye Dotson, 72 of Mouthcard, Ky. passed away on Friday at her home. She is the daughter of Kermit and Ovaleen King Sawyers. She was of the Holiness faith and worked as a hairstylist. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother; Donnie and a sister; Ernie Gail. Survivors are daughters; Melissa Goudreau and Michelle Reynolds both of Feds Creek and a daughter Marsha Joiner of Okeechobee, Florida, brothers; Danny of Georgetown, Ky. Ronnie of Haysi, Va., Gary of Pikeville, Jerry of Raccoon, Ky. and Randy of Pomona Park, Florida, grandchildren; Brady Hurley, Ciara Reynolds, Brettani Joiner, Randy Joiner, Brooke Joiner and Krista Endicott, great grandchildren; Brantley Irick, Bradyn Hurley and Grason Hurley. Services will be held at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Ray Sayers and Danny Hess officiating on Tuesday at 2:00. Visitation will be from 6:00Pm-10:00PM on Monday. Burial will follow in the Annie Young Cemetery.

We were saddened to hear about elvas passing. Our condolences go out to the family for their loss. She wil missed by all of us. She was a person of faith, always willing to pray for others. I know she did that for me a lot. I find confort in knowing she is with the Lord. I hope that brings comfort to her family as well. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
