Lester Collins, 64 of Paintlick, KY formerly of Pikeville, KY passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Baptist Health, Lexington, KY. Lester was born May 2, 1954 in Pikeville, KY to the late Rodolph Anderson Collins & Frankie Ella Thacker Collins. In addition to his parents, Lester was preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Collins, father-in-law, Hollis Bartley, and two brothers-in-law, Dwayne Bartley & Jamie Bartley. Lester is survived by his wife, Sharon Bartley Collins of Paintlick, KY; two daughters, Christie (Todd) Blackburn & Leslie (Mike) Williams both of Pikeville, KY; and four grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Hanna Blackburn, Hollie Bryant & Myka Williams. Lester is also survived by siblings, Roger Collins, Trevis Collins, Eddie Collins, Larry Thacker & Rhoda Thacker all of Shelbiana, KY, Glenna Bunham of FL, Lois Kendrick & Elsie Morris both of Pikeville, KY, Opal Hamilton of Morehead, KY, Jesse Collins of Marrowbone, KY and Shirley Collins of Stanton, KY; mother-in-law, Rose Bartley of Paintlick, KY; sister-in-law, Sandy (Jeff) Forsyth and newphew, Keith Forsyth all of Westland, MI; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from be from 6-10PM Friday, Feb. 8 and Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with services nightly at 7PM. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019 at 1PM from the chapel with Neil Coleman, Tim Tackett & Ryan McCoy. Entombment will follow at the J.U. Thacker Mausoleum, Pikeville, KY.
