Alma Taylor Justice, 93 of Phyllis, KY passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Pikeville Medical Center. Alma was a homemaker and a member of the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ. Alma was born June 3, 1925 at Phyllis, KY to the late Frank Taylor & Flora Webb Taylor. In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Mayor Justice, one son, Elster Justice, a granddaughter, Amanda Carroll, four brothers, Virgil, Roy, Ruey & Lonnie Taylor and two sisters, Sarah Oma Sawyers and, Mary Taylor and a son-in-law, Joseph Fuller. Alma is survived by five sons, Fonso (Delores) Justice of Pikeville, KY, James (Rita) Justice, Stevie (Anita) Justice, Richard Justice & Robert Justice all of Phyllis, KY; two daughters, Charlene Fuller of Phyllis, KY & Jeanne (Ron) Hamilton of Lexington,KY; twelve grandchildren, Sabrina Zion, Richard Allen Justice, Billy Joe Justice, Andrea Smith, Mitchell Justice, Roderick Justice, Jodi Fuller, Donovan Justice, Madison Hamilton & Maya Hamilton Patrick Justice; twenty great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Alma is also survived by two brothers, Herman Taylor of Nicholasville, KY & Sherman Taylor of Lorraine, OH & one sister, Juanita Mullins of Elkhorn City, KY. Visitation will be held after 6PM Saturday, Dec. 29 & Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018 at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at 1PM from the church with Dwayne Abshire & Jim Abshire officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylor-Justice Cemetery, Phyllis, KY.
