Christine Ward, 77 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Pikeville Medical Center. Christine was born March 18, 1941 at Pikeville, KY to the late John Ratliff & Rissie Coleman Ratliff Damron. In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Roy Ward, Jr., one brother, Emory Ratliff, two sisters, Shirley Ratliff & Georgia Wallace and one son-in-law, Ivol Caudill.  Christine is survived by four daughters, Penny (Jessie) Steffey of Pikeville, KY, Gwendolyn Caudill, Kimberly Ward & Barbara (Robert) Rowe all of Elkhorn City,KY; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 7, 2018 at 12PM from the chapel with David Thacker officiating. Burial will follow at Dow Brooks Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
