Ermile Looney Robinson, 75 of Belcher passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014 at her residence. Ermile was born Feb. 21, 1939 at Belcher, KY to the late Henry Thompson Looney & Polly Ratliff Looney. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Robinson and five brothers, Raymond, Luther, Gene, Denis & Tony Dale. Ermile is survived by one step-son, Bruce Robinson, one brother, Jake Looney of Davenport, FL and five sisters, Avanell Bevins & Justine Sullivan both of Belcher, KY, Avalene Mullins of Elyria, OH, Sharon Scarniac of Medina, OH & Sheila Onkst of Lexington, KY and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the Mt. View Church of Christ, Lick Creek, KY. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 11AM from the church. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
To the family of sweet Ermile- she was so valued and loved by those she worked with. I worked side by side with Ermile the last 9 years she worked in the ER, “keeping us all straight” on paper and otherwise. She will never be forgotten and the world is a little less bright today, but Heaven is brighter. Love you Ermile!
So sorry to hear of Ermile’s passing. I got to know Ermile when she was my mother, Dottie Carter’s secretary and I was a nurse at the hospital. Sending prayers and comfort to her family.
