Jerry Ratliff, 61 of Elkhorn City passed away Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at his residence. Jerry was born Feb. 1, 1953 in Detroit, MI to the late Paul Ratliff & Dollie Stewart Ratliff. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Timmy Ratliff. Jerry is survived by his wife, Sherry Matthews Ratliff of Elkhorn City, three daughters, Kimberly Letner of Somerset, KY, Karen Ratliff & Linda Ratliff both of Elkhorn City, and one son, Joseph Ratliff of Elkhorn City, KY. He is also survived by three brothers, William Goebel Ratliff, Steve Ratliff & Butch Ratliff and four sisters, Trish Meade, Nora Coleman, Amy Bartley & Genny Childress; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
