Frankie Darnell, 84

Frankie Darnell, 84 of Feds Creek, Ky passed away Friday, September 28 at her home. She was born on June 25, 1934 in Phyllis, Ky to the late Connie Aaron Booker and Sadie Alice Justice Booker. In addition to her parents Frankie was preceded in death by one son Kelly Darnell, two Brothers Jimmy and Tom Booker, Three sisters Joyce, Joan and Gloria, and one Grandson Michael. Frankie is survived by her husband Emory Theodore Darnell of Feds Creek, Ky, three sons Clifford (Alliene) Darnell of Steele, Ky, Richard (Jacquie) Darnell of Feds Creek, Ky, and Steven (Briqetta) Darnell of Raccoon, Ky. Three daughters Debbie Craft of Feds Creek, Ky, Karen Darnell of Feds Creek, Ky, and Yvonne Darnell of Glasgow, Ky. One sister Sally Justice of Louisville, Ky, 8 Grandchildren and 15 Great-grandchildren and a very special friend Teresa Harrison. Visitation will be Saturday, September 29 from 6-10PM and Sunday September 30 from 6-10PM at the Feds Creek Baptist Church with a service nightly at 7PM. Funeral will be on Monday October 1 at 1PM at the church with Lloyd Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery in Shelbiana, KY.

    I have known and loved Frankie and family for as long as I can remember. We grew up as neighbors and friends, I don’t remember her without a smile and a welcoming “come on in”.
