Darrell Harmon, 68 of Rockhouse, KY passed away at the home of his daughter on Saturday morning December 9,2017. Darrell was born February 15, 1949 at Rockhouse, KY to the late Clayton William Harmon and Ollie Coleman Harmon. Darrell was the pastor of the Unity Freewill Baptist Church, board member of Marrowbone Fire Dept., member of Thomas Cecil Masonic Lodge #375, member of El Hasa Shriner’s Lodge and a US Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Wallace Harmon of Rockhouse, KY; one daughter; Stephanie (Mark) Lowry of Georgetown, KY; four grandchildren; Hunter Lowry, Wade (Keri) Lowry, Clayton William Harmon Diles and Sadie Elizabeth Lowry,; one great grandchild, Brantley Wade Lowery. Darrell is also survived by one brother, Charles Harmon of Rockhouse, KY and a host of family and friends. Services will be conducted from the Unity Freewill Baptist Church on Rockhouse on Wednesday at 11:00 with Michael Coleman, Gregory Coleman, Josh Coleman, Delon Jones, Tony Adkins, Terry Gibson, Ricky Ratliff and Danny Duty officiating. Visitation will begin on Monday at 6:00PM from the Unity Freewill Baptist Church with services nightly at 7PM. Burial will follow in the Arthur and Mary Coleman Cemetery on Rockhouse, KY.

I will always remember Darrell as a classmate of Hellier High School, and a very good Rook player at the Marrowbone Senior Citizens’ Center. I know you will miss him, but you should have comfort in knowing that he is at home with his Father.
