Jean Hall Hamilton, 78 of Pikeville, KY passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at UKMC. Jean was born December 17, 1938 at Johns Creek, KY to the late Gracie Bentley. Besides her mother, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Hamilton and two sons, Edgel Hamilton & Kirby Hamilton. Jean is survived by four sons, Walter Hamilton, Ronald Hamilton & Tommy Hamilton all of Pikeville, KY and Charlie Hamilton, Jr. of Raccoon, KY; three daughters, Racine Rogers & Vickie Watson both of Pikeville, KY and Novella Courtney of Greasy Creek, KY; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and one great great grandson. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 25 & Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Island Creek Regular Baptist Church with services nightly at 7PM. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 2PM from the church with Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow at the Jack Thomas Cemetery, Island Creek, KY.
