Phyllis Jean Pigg, 83

Phyllis Jean Pigg, 83 of Hellier, KY passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  She was a member of the Allegheny Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker.  Phyllis was born October 25, 1933 in Pikeville, KY to the late Bowles Belcher & Alice Mercer Belcher. Besides her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Pigg; a son, Jerry Allen Pigg; three sisters, Vivian Belcher, Etta C. Carney, and Geraldine Compton; an infant brother; and two grandchildren, Shelia Gail Wellman and Jerry Wayne Pigg. Phyllis  is survived by  two sons, Terry Wayne Pigg and Gary Dean Pigg both of Elkhorn City, KY; two daughters, Deborah Alice Wellman of Hellier, KY and Rosetta Williams of Pikeville, KY; eight grandchildren, Lisa Marie  Little, Travis Wayne Pigg, Nicholas Wayne Baldridge, Taylor Brooke Hylton, Randall Keith Wellman, Ryan Lee Wellman, Aleisha Nicole Rogers and  James Michael “Bo” Williams; sixteen great grandchildren; Paula James, Austin Kidd, Logan Walker Pigg, Dustin McGuire, Dalton Little, Darah Little, Noah Baldridge, Ellie Baldridge, Abram Baldridge, Garah Pigg, Abby Worrix, Daniel Rogers, Michael Rogers, Christina Rogers, Kelsie Mae Williams and Isaac Floyd Williams; and two great great grandchildren; McKenzie James and Jake James. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 1:00PM from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Nick Baldridge and Richard Gibson officiating,  Visitation will be on Monday, June 12 from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM and Tuesday, June 13 from 8:00Am-10:00PM with services nightly at 7PM.  Burial will follow in the Hylton-Holbrook Cemetery at Rockhouse, KY.
