David Bennett, 59 of Elkhorn City passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at his residence. David was born August 26, 1954 in Pike County, KY to the late Willard Kenneth Bennett & Altha Mae Potter Bennett. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Mike Bennett. David is survived by one son, Dave Bennett of Elkhorn City and two grandsons, Caine & Max Bennett. He is also survived by three brothers, Jerry Kendrick, Kenneth Bennett, Jr. & Dewayne Bennett and five sisters, Linda Ward, Brenda Bennett, Jeanie Swindall, Debbie Bennett & Tammy Hall. Visitation will be after 6PM Friday, May 30 & Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel.
Teddy and I are so very sorry to hear about Dave’s passing. Everyone that knew Dave loved him. He will be missed by many. Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
