Orbin C. Kendrick, 79 husband of 52 years to Clara Raines Kendrick, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Baptist Health Lexington. Born January 12, 1938 in Pike County, KY, he was the son of the late Orbin Kendrick, Sr. & Effie Kendrick May. Mr. Kendrick served in the U.S. Army and was a retired Quality Control Specialist for IBM. Survivors other than his wife include a step-sister, Geraldine Frances, OH; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 4-7PM Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg, Rd., Lexington, KY 40513 and an additional visitation will be held 4-7PM Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Services will take place 11AM Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Raines Cemetery, Breaks, VA.
