Josephine “Marie” Lester, 90 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Pikeville Medical Center. Marie was born March 8, 1927 at Belcher, KY to the late Claude Clevinger & Rushia Childers Bartley. Besides her parents, Marie was preceded in death by one son, Herman Lester, one grandson, Max Lester and three brothers, Clyde Clevinger, Earl Clevinger & James Clevinger. Marie is survived by her husband, Curtis Lester of Elkhorn City, KY; two daughters, Debbie Branscum of Brighton, MI and Denise McHone of Elkhorn City, KY; five grandchildren, Holli Titus, Wes Lester, Vanessa Lester, Amy Stiltner & Marley Tribble; and three great-grandchildren, Paxton Titus, Carver Titus and Avery Tribble. Marie is also survived by one brother, Harold Clevinger of Arkansas. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 11AM from the chapel with Billy Ford officiating. Entombment will follow at the J U Thacker Mausoleum, Shelbiana, KY.
