Thelma Griffey, 89 of Mouthcard, Ky. was born on May 12, 1927 at Nigh, Ky., to Sim and Nancy Ellen Hurley Fields.  She passed away at the home of her daughter, Rhonda on Thursday, March 2, 2017.  Thelma was married to Hassell Lee Griffey.  To that union was born 2 sons; Bobby Ray of Feds Creek  and Roy Eugene of Phyllis, 2 daughters; Barbara Lynett Harrison of Hillsboro, Ky. and Rhonda Kay Harrison of Mouthcard, Ky. Others survivors are brothers; Freddie of Feds Creek and Freland of Mouthcard, sisters; Gladys Sullivan of Burkesville, Ky. Mosey Fields of Steele, Ky. and Linda Sue Matney of Feds Creek, Grandchildren; Regina Mullins, Dena McClanahan, Joseph Brent Harrison, Tammy Lynett Tansley, Jeffrey Allen Harrison, Andra Lee Robinett and Terry Eugene Griffey, great grandchildren; Jaci Li Pustelnik, Lily Joella Harrison, Whitney Faith Boggs, Alex Mullins, Aaron Lester, Olivia Joe Harrison, Josie Harrison, Jocelyn Harrison, Haly LaShae Ramey and Hayden Rae Robinette, and I great great grandchild; Jonathan Boggs. She was preceded in death by her parents; Sim and Nancy, her husband; Hassell Lee ,brothers; James and Eugene, sister; Helen. Thelma was a member of the pentecostal faith and a homemaker.  Visitation will be from 6:00-10:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, 8:00AM-10:00PM on Sunday.  Service will be conducted by Ray Sayers and Jesse Taylor. Funeral will be 1:00 Monday and burial will follow in the Annie Young Cemetery at Shelbiana, Ky.
