Beverly Eugene Jones 64 years of age, of Rockhouse passed away Tuesday Feb. 28 at the Pikeville Medical center while being surrounded by his loving and caring family. Eugene was a disabled former coal miner, truck driver and welder. He was preceded in death by both parents Fred Jones and Bettye Jo Bradshaw Jones and one brother James “Jimmy” Bradshaw. Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Lorena Carol Bentley Jones, two sons Brian Keith Jones, wife Carol of Strawberry Plains, Tn. and Kevin Robert Jones and wife Lisa of Morristown, TN., 1 very special grandson Alexander Jones of Dandridge, Tn., one brother Norris Dean Jones of Florida, sister Sandra Jo Leonard and husband Irvin of Flint, Mi., sister Faye Couch of Tawas, Mi., and one uncle Jake Bradshaw and wife Jean of Montrose, Mi., mother-in-law Gracie Bentley of Rockhouse, brother-in- law Kerby Bentley and wife Bernadine of Dandridge, TN., brother-in-law Jerry Bentley of Rockhouse, special friends Gwen Rowe and Jason Damron and wife Savannah and several nieces and nephews. Eugene touched many lives. His most favorite things in life were playing his guitar and singing and fishing on Douglas Lake and spending time with family and grandson Alex. Eugene has many friends and will be greatly missed by all. Services will be held at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, 2:00, with Richard Gibson officiating. Visitation will be at the chapel from 6:00-10:00 on Friday.
