Lillie Mae Damron, 77 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Pikeville Medical Center. Lillie was born on July 3, 1938 in Pike County, KY to the late Bergon and Lula Alice Adams Ratliff. Lillie was a homemaker and an ordained minister of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her first husband, James Oliver Sayers, second husband, Gerald Damron, and parents she was preceded in death by one son, James Terry Sayers, three brothers, Raymond, Ray, & Creed, and three sisters, Joyce Coleman, Lois Wright, and Wilma Delisle.
Lillie is survived by one daughter, Diana Sayers Bartley of Pikeville; three brothers, Danny (Dorris) Ratliff of Powells Creek, Steve Ratliff of Dandridge, TN and Cleve (Judy) Ratliff of Princeton, WV; one sister, Virginia (Ricky) Kerr of Jackson, TN; 2 grandchildren, Darren Shane Steele and Jessica Jean Bartley; and 6 great grandchildren, Nicalyn Ratliff, Nathaniel Fife, Thomas Wayne Hopkins, Logan Chase Hopkins, Darren James Steele and Dylan Shane Steele.
Services will be conducted from the original Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 2:00 with Ray Sayers and Plennie Sawyers officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-10:00 beginning on Monday, June 20, 2016 from the original Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Ratliff Cemetery at Draffin, KY.
