Dorse Gene Clevinger, 87 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away June 18, 2016 at Mountain View Nursing Home.  Dorse was born on June 1, 1929 in Pike County, KY  to the late Dorse and Mary Ratliff Clevinger.  He was a truck driver and a KY Colonel.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Jimmie Dale and Jerry.  Dorse is survived by his wife, Barbara, a daughter, Tisha Lyn Newsom of Lawrenceburg, KY,  and 2 grandchildren, Devon and Brynna.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, 6:00 PM from the Bailey  Funeral Home Chapel. DAV Chpt. 140 will be providing military rites.
