Butchie Ratliff, 69 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Saturday April 16, 2016 at his residence. Butchie was born Feb. 18, 1947 in Elkhorn City to the late Derwood Ratliff and Katie Lee Adkins Ratliff. Butchie is survived by his wife Nancy Ratliff also of Elkhorn City, five children; Rebecca (and Keith) Burns of Acworth, GA, Lavonda (and Brett) Meade of Betsy Layne, KY, Kim (and Richard) Hall of Whitesburg, KY, Derwood (and Rebecca) Ratliff of Pikeville, KY, and Jon (and Jennifer) Quillen of Nicholasville, KY. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; Kassi, Katelyn, Conner, Bella, Mason, Zak, Madelyn, Christopher, Elizabeth, Sophie, Jordan, Dalton, and Dylan.
Visitation will be held Sunday April 17, 2016 from 6 – 10 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will be conducted Monday, April 18, 2016 at 1:00 PM from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Ford officiating. Burial will follow at the Elkhorn City Cemetery, Elkhorn City, KY.
