Jeanette Elswick, 87 of Elkhorn City, Ky. was born On Sept. 17, 1936 and passed away at home on Nov. 4, 2023. She was the daughter of Squire and Rosa Slone Conley who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Cedar Grove Regular Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Benette “Ben Jack” Elswick, brother; Otis Conley and sisters; Hazel Cantrell, Ella Sifers and Edith Cantrell and a grandchild; Melanie Beth Potter. Survivors are sons; Kenneth Eugene Elswick of Elkhorn City, Danny Roger Elswick of Elkhorn City and Bobby Ray Elswick of Elkhorn City, daughters; Jenny Kay Parsons of Harold, Barbara Ann Hogston of Ashcamp, Teresa Lee of Elkhorn City, Pamela King of Elkhorn City and Patricia Mullins of Pikeville, grandchildren; Payton Elswick, Sheena Denise Sanders, Lori Ann Elswick, Danny Burgess Slone, Jr., Adam Christopher Slone, Randall Keith Standifur, Jeremy David Hogston, Brittany Nicole Varney, Kevin Bradley Ramey, Kenneth Brandon Potter, Kayla Brooke Griffey, great-grandchildren; Katherine Rose Elswick, Shaylee Danielle Sanders, Talan Jayce Sanders, Avery Lynn Sanders, Zachary Blade Slone, Haley Standifur, Emily McKay Standifur, Phenix Varney, Nicholas Dray Adkins, Adrihianna Griffey and Xzavier Bradley Ramey. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, Nov. 6, 2023 from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, 2:00 in the chapel with Jerry Overstreet, Larry Puckett and Ronnie Frank Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Dow Brooks Cemetery at Draffin, Ky.
