Bonnie Jean Hunt, 82 of Mouthcard, KY passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at her residence. She was a butcher with the IGA store and a member of the Lick Creek Holiness Church.

Bonnie was born May 23, 1941 to the late Jake Sawyers and Nellie Ramey Sawyers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hunt, three daughters, Anita Carol Hayes, Pamela Jean Hunt Collins and Lora Ann Hunt, three brothers, Talmadge, Thomas and Leo Sawyers and brother-in-law, Elmer Adkins.

Bonnie is survived by a son, Paul David Hunt; daughter, Jennifer (Roger) Thornsbury of Mouthcard, KY; seven grandchildren, Jerry Robert Hayes, Misty Nichole Geel, Jennie Harrison, Andrea Marie Justice, Cathy Thornsbury, Sarah Elizabeth Mullins and Jaymie D. Collins and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, Terry Sawyers of Lick Creek, KY, Danny (Felicia) Sawyers of Big Rock, VA, & Ralph (Shirley) Sawyers and six sisters, Lois Adkins of Kimper, KY, Ruby Sawyers of Ferguson, MO, Anna (Phillip) Andes of Decatur, IL, Shirley (Michael) Lester of Big Rock, VA, Barbara Wolfe of Okawville, IL, and Irene (Neal) Thacker of Pikeville, KY.

Visitation will be after 6PM Thursday, November 02, and Friday, November 03, 2023 at the Lick Creek Holiness Church with services nightly at 7PM. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 04, 2023 at 2PM from the church with Lick Creek Holiness ministers and Danny Hess officiating. Burial will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY.
