Peggy Robinson, 86 of Elkhorn City, KY was born on May 19, 1936, in Elkhorn City, KY and passed away on January 14, 2023, in the Pikeville Medical Center. She was a member of the Elkhorn City Church of Christ where she served in the Ladies Group, Vacation Bible School, the H.O.P.E. program, and the Gideons Bible Study group.

She was an avid reader, and her love for books led her to become a librarian for about 30 years. She worked for the Pike County Library system until her death. She loved sewing and crafting and was a member of the Pike County Homemakers and the Quilting Group at the Library.

She was the spouse of an Air Force veteran and was active in the D.A.V. Auxiliary for many years. She loved the sun and never missed an opportunity to work on her tan and visit the beach.

She was born and raised on Little Beaver Creek and was the daughter of Mason D. and Clara Holley Ramey who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elster Robinson, a brother; Robert Ramey, and 2 sisters; Vena Robinson and infant Mary Ramey. She is survived by a son; Jeff (Ramona) Robinson of Elkhorn City, KY, 2 daughters; Vena Belcher of Newport, NC and Katrena White of Myrtle Beach, SC, grandchildren; Emily (Brian) Addis, Andrew (Dustin) Robinson, Derek Belcher, Kara Belcher, Mary Alexis Wright, and Logan White, great-grandchildren; Jensen Addis, Clay Robinson, Ben Robinson and Jameson Glancy.

Visitation will be at the Elkhorn City Church of Christ, Friday, January 20, 2023 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. The funeral service will be on Saturday at the church at 12PM with Jim Ed Belcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Ramey Cemetery, Little Beaver Creek, Elkhorn City, KY.
