James Toliver Wallace was born on February 3, 1940, at Bartlick, VA. He was 82. He was the son of the late Reverend Wash Wallace and Lola Ellen Mullins. His family homeplace is at Mill Branch of Ashcamp. He was a retired coal hauler, a carpenter, a root digger, a gold prospector, a fisherman, an Elkhorn City Heritage Council member, and belong to Sycamore REACT.

He enjoyed reading his Bible and having a good conversation. He is survived by his children Lora, James, Lola, Timothy Neal, and Melissa as well as his first wife, Lena Mae; 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3-6 PM Thursday, April 07, 2022, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, with the funeral service from 6-7 PM.
