Fayetta Spears, 88 of Ashcamp, KY. passed away Sunday December 13, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Born on December 9, 1932 to the James Frederick and Elizabeth Rose Overstreet. She was a member of the Cedar Grove Regular Baptist Church. In addition to her parents Fayetta was preceded in death by her sons; Christopher Lee Spears and Steven Wilson Spears, daughter; Wanda Looney, brothers; Fred and Ray Overstreet and two grandchildren. She is survived by her husband; Homer Joe Spears, sons; Jimmy Karl(Scherry)of Gallipolis, Ohio, Joey (Linda) Spears of Breaks, Va. and Hestal Wayne Spears of Ashcamp, Ky., daughters; Sandra (C.J.) Stiltner of Maxie, Va., and Rhonda Spears of Wise, Va., 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 6-10PM with a service at 7PM on December 14, 2020 at the Bailey Funeral Home in Elkhorn City, KY. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 2PM on December 15, 2020 with Jerry Overstreet officiating. Fayetta was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
