Nancy Cantrell, 79, of Elkhorn City, KY, passed way October 11, 2020 at her home. She was born on December 13, 1940 in Praise, KY to the late Hillard and Wealthy Taylor and was a member of the East End Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Earl Cantrell, Sisters Patty Rose and Joy Swiney, brothers Rush Taylor and Mann Taylor, nephew Aaron David Lewis and her special companion Robert Puckett. Nancy is survived by her son Robert (Mona) Wayne Cantrell of Norton, Va. Daughters; Pamelia (Charles) Cavins of Elkhorn City, KY, and Bethel (Russell) Kay Cure of Elkhorn City, KY. Brothers; Earl Dean Taylor, McArthur “Tiny” Taylor, and Glade Taylor of Elkhorn City, KY, and Jimmy Taylor of Regina, KY. Sisters; Ginger Lewis and Wanda Taylor of Elkhorn City, KY. Grandchildren Russell Wayne Cure, Bethanie Amber Bishop, Heather Slone, Shelley Danielle Cavins, Roger Eric Nathaniel Cavins, Euna Cavins, Shonda Faye Cavins, Shay Cantrell, Essie Cantrell, Lucy Belcher. Great Grandchildren Brady Cure, Cole Cure, Candice Bishop, Shane Bishop, Savannah Slone, Shyanne Slone, Nathaniel Bryan Cavins as well as many other family and friends. Visitation will be held on October 13, 2020 from 6-10PM at the Bailey Funeral Home chapel in Elkhorn City, KY. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 2PM on October 14, 2020 with Jimmy Kerr officiating. Burial will follow in the Elkhorn City Cemetery in Elkhorn City, KY.
