June Haynes, 74 of Elkhorn City, Ky. was born on Nov. 5, 1942 in the Breaks, Va. to Noah and  Vica Hunt Owens.  She passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the Mt. View Nursing Home.  June was a member of the Elkhorn City Church of Christ and a homemaker.  Her husband, John Paris Haynes preceded her in death, a son Gorton Keith, brother; Roger Hunt and sister; Jean Rogers.  Survivors are 3 sons; Wayne of Big Branch, Jon of Elkhorn City and Brad of Inkster, Mi., a daughter; Debra Haynes of Akron, Ohio, brothers; Rudy of Elkhorn City, Sisters; Deliah Turner of Clintwood, Judy Rice of Haysi, Sylvia Justice of Hurley, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
