Goebel Swiney, 78 of Draffin, KY passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at his residence. Goebel was born April 25, 1937 at Draffin, KY to the late James Swiney & Caroline Coleman Swiney. Goebel is survived by his wife, Mary Vivian Puckett Swiney of Draffin, KY, two sons, Goebel Sweeney & James Allen Sweeney both of Elkhorn City, KY. It is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-10PM Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2PM from the chapel. Burial will be at Dow Brooks Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
