Jerry Compton, 55 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at his residence. Jerry was born June 12, 1959 in Williamson, WV to the late Thomas F. Compton & Zettie Thacker Compton. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas James Compton, Terry Dean Compton & Frederick Lee Compton. Jerry is survived by his lifetime companion, Mary Hylton of Elkhorn City, KY, one daughter, Jerrica Skeens of Pikeville, KY, one son, Thomas Spears of Elkhorn City, KY and three grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Mark Anthony Compton and one sister, Charlene Compton both of Ashcamp, KY. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 1PM from the chapel with burial to follow at the Elkhorn City Cemetery, Elkhorn City, KY.
