Steve Haynes, 63 of Elkhorn City, Ky. passed away Friday at the Pikeville Medical Center. Services will be held from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, 2:00, Monday with Jerry Overstreet officiating. Visitation will be at the chapel from 12:00-2:00, Monday. Survivors are: Son-Daniel Haynes, Daughter, Sara Compton, 2 grandchildren, sisters, Edna Lanier, Margaret Collier, Magaline Ramey, Marie Smith and Gay Looney .
Will miss talking to Steve about aliens and the coasttocoast radio show. Sometimes he had me believing in them! My condolences to the rest of the family.

i am lummie haynes daughter which makes first cousin to steve. although i never knew him but i saw him as a child when we visited goldie and clinard. i know edna and madeline. i think that i know gay but am not quite sure. i am sorry that another member of the haynes family has passed.
Dear family, I am so sorry about Steve. I am only 2 years older than him and remember playing with him. Lelia used to keep us updated on the family, so I guess it has been a long time. Always in out thoughts.
