Allen Lee Puckett, 71 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Monday, March 25, 2024 at his residence. He was a retired security guard for Community Trust Bank and a member of the Elkhorn City Church of Christ. Allen was born August 20, 1952 in Pikeville, KY to the late Rex Puckett and Cathern Ratliff Puckett. in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosetta Meadows Puckett and a brother, Ronald Gene Puckett.
Allen is survived by a son, Richard Allen Pucket of East Bernstadt, KY; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Olivier of Elkhorn City, KY; four grandchildren, Morgan Blake Puckett, Peyton Conner Puckett, Dylan Jacob Blackburn and Jonathan Hunter Blackburn.
Visitation will be from 6-10PM Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be conducted Friday, March 29, 2024 at 2PM from the chapel with Jim Ed Belcher and Chris Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at Dow Brooks Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
Dear cousin, Rest in peace. Say hello to the family and give my grandfather Elzie a hug for me. The world is a little colder and a little less kinder because you’re not here. But God knows all.
