Glenda Colene Adkins, 81 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Monday, October 16, 2023, at Hazard ARH. She was a homemaker and a member of the Elkhorn City Church of Christ. Colene was born October 20, 1941, in Robinson, WV to the late Cecil Hall and Ruth Scott Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Blake Adkins, a brother, David Hall and a sister, Judy Coleman.

Colene is survived by a son, Todd (Corina) Adkins of Beaver Dam, VA; three daughters, Judy (Jon) Clevinger of Cynthiana, KY, Donetta (Tommy) Anderson of Walton, KY, and Katina (Winston, Jr.) Kelly of Jonesville, VA; nine grandchildren, Talia Adkins, Jeffrey Clevinger, Jacob Clevinger, Jessica Clevinger, Trey Anderson, Drew Anderson, Raegan Reese, Mackenzie Boughner, & Baleigh Boughner; and seven great-grandchildren, Eliza Clevinger, Ivy Gene Clevinger, Magnolia Clevinger, Bently Hughes, Aaleyah Anderson, Adrion Anderson & Brixton Anderson.

Visitation will be from 6-10 PM Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 2 PM from the chapel with Billy Ford, Jim Ed Belcher & Chris Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY.
