Herman Randall Abshire, 73 of Steele, KY passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at Pikeville Medical Center. Herman was born June 12, 1941 at Feds Creek, KY to the late Lauch Abshire and Ezel Thompson Abshire. Besides his parents Herman was preceded in death by one daughter, Andrea Lea Abshire, one brother, Raymond Abshire & one sister, Della Mae Abshire. Herman is survived by his wife, Sharon Gail Meade Abshire of Steele, KY, two daughters, Susie Robinette of Pikeville, KY & Heather Kendrick of Steele, KY and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Wednesday, March 4 & Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with services nightly at 7PM. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 6, 2015 at 1PM from the chapel with Barry Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, KY.
