Roger Dean May, 70 of Pikeville, KY passed away Monday, September 19, 2022 at his residence. Roger was born April 23, 1952, to the late Lonzo May and Stella Bentley May. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by brothers, Eugene, Carmel Lee, Ted, Gary Dean and Winston May. Roger is survived by two sons, Rodger Lee May of Haysi, VA and Jessie Allen May of Mouthcard, KY; daughter, Jenny Marie Mullins of Pikeville, KY; two grandchildren, Abigail Mullins & Jeremey Mullins; and the mother of his children, Hester Ramey. Roger is also survived by four brothers, Lawrence May of NC, Monroe May of TN, Wayne May of Pikeville, KY and Randy May of Hazard, KY and sister, Darlene Dotson of NC. Visitation will be after 6PM Wednesday, September 21 and Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church with services nightly at 7PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at 2PM from the church with Paul Coleman and others officiating. Burial will follow at the Ratliff Cemetery, Wolfpit, KY.
