Bruce Lynn Ramey, 60 of Rockhouse, KY passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at his residence. He was a retired coal miner and his home church was Unity Freewill Baptist. Bruce was born on January 18, 1962 in Pikeville, KY to the late Volman Harris Ramey and Flossie Bentley Ramey Pauley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Deanna Sifers.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Janet Chaney Ramey of Rockhouse, KY; a daughter, Sonia Rollins of Toledo, OH; stepchildren, Shawn Huffman of Venters, KY and Sara Adkins of Carrollton, GA; and his beloved pet Copper.

He is also survived by one brother, Johnny Ramey and a sister, Sharon Potter both of Elkhorn City, KY; and Craig Hurley of Draffin, KY.

Visitation will be after 6PM Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church with a service at 7PM. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 12PM from the church with Mike Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Unity Freewill Baptist Church.
