Phyllis Jean Cavins, 77 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center. Phyllis was born February 04, 1945 at Lancer, KY to the late Lewis Thompson and Ruth Hunt. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Blake “Katydid” Cavins and sister, Diana Lucas.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Sara (Mark) Edwards of Ashcamp, KY; granddaughter, Olivia Edwards; and sister, Ruby Miller.
There will be a memorial service Thursday, May 05, 2022 at 2PM from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 1-2 PM. Steve Taylor will be officiating.
