Harold “Larry” Blair, 83

Harold Douglas “Larry” Blair, 83 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Saturday, October 02, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center. He was a retired coal miner. Larry was born October 22, 1937 at Harless Creek, KY to the late Fred Blair and Oma Coleman Blair Adkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Johnny Blair, Charlie Blair, Danny Adkins and Greg Adkins, two sisters, Joy Blackburn and Alene Blackburn and six step-brothers. Larry is survived by his wife, Geneva Justice Blair; son, Larry Wendell Blair of Regina, KY; daughter, Sheila (Tim) Mullins of New Paris, IN; six grandchildren, Nathan Blair, Timra Looney, Heather Mullins, Hailey Mullins, Austin Mullins & Connor Blair; and three great-grandchildren, MaKenzie Looney, Jackson Looney & Maisyn Blair. Larry is also survived by two brothers, Ronald Blair of Shelbiana, KY and Fred Blair of Chloe, KY. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Monday, October 04, 2021 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 05, 2021 at 12PM from the chapel with Jimmy Dale Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Dow Brooks Cemetery, Draffin, KY.

    The Huff family is heartbroken to hear about “Mato.” Sending prayers for the family during this difficult time. I know my father-in-law Roy Huff & wife Dockie will sure miss Mato.
