Raymond E. O’Brien, 65 of New Tazewell, TN formerly of Lick Creek, KY passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2015 at Jewish Hospital, Louisville, KY. Raymond was born December 23, 1949 at Feds Creek, KY to the late Richard O’Brien & Zella Anderson Pruitt. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Richard Ray O’Brien, one brother, Steven O’Brien and one sister, Clara Sue Fuller. Raymond is survived by one daughter, Kristie Anders of Lick Creek, KY and two grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Ronald O’Brien of Deleon Springs, FL and one sister, Sharon Church of Feds Creek, KY. Visitation will be after 6PM Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015 at the Lick Creek Holiness Church, Lick Creek, KY. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015 at 11AM from the church. Burial will follow at Mt. Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Raymond was a schoolmate of mine at FCHS. Such a handsome, sweet young man. So sorry for your loss.
I am sorry that he left us so sudden. I Thank God and Kristie I got to talk to him last week.
We had so much fun growing up. He was like a brother. I pray God’s Blessings Upon each of you. Heaven gained another for a shouting time with his Son.
