Fayetta Ratliff Pergrem, 81 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Baptist Health, Lexington, KY.
Fayetta was a member of the Elkhorn City Baptist Church, the Elkhorn City Area Women’s Club & former president, a Charter Member of the Willowbrook Country Club, a Girl Scout & Cub Scout Mom, and a member of the KY Arthritis Foundation.
Fayetta was born September 07, 1939, in Pikeville, KY to the late Guy Ratliff and Ruby Pearl Justice Ratliff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Clark “Doc” Pergrem, son Derek Wayne Pergrem and grandson, Clark Dale Pergrem, II. She is survived by her son, Clark (Tracey) Pergrem of Richmond, KY and her daughter, Angela (Scott) Owens of Elkhorn City, KY; and grandchildren, Christina Pergrem, Ryder Pergrem, Madison Pergrem, Hunter Pergrem and Hunter Fleming.
Visitation will be from 6-10PM Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the Original Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 11AM from the Chapel with Jim Ed Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
I was saddened to hear of Fayetta’s passing. She was a Elkhorn Icon and beautiful person. My deepest sympathies to your family.
