George David Ramey, 65 of Pikeville, KY passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center. David was a coal miner and a member of the Elkhorn City Church of Christ. David was born November 22, 1955 at Pikeville, KY to the late Raymond Ramey & Madgline Haynes Ramey. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Addison Grace Ramey. David is survived by his wife, Barbara Justice Ramey of Pikeville, KY; son, David Dewayne (Traci) Ramey of Elkhorn City, KY; two step-sons, Josh (Summer) Leathers of Dandridge, TN & Shon (Stephanie) Leathers of Pikeville, KY; one grandson, Carter Ramey; seven step-grandchildren, Jesse Leathers, Ashleigh Leathers, Hudson Leathers, Griffin Leathers, Stormy Leathers, Ace Leathers & Sailor Leathers; and two step great-grandchildren, Paisleigh Leathers & Loreigh Leathers. David is also survived by two sisters, Katie Tackett of Weeksbury, KY and Barbara Jean Slone of Elkhorn City, KY. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Monday, April 26, 2021 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 11AM from the chapel with Johnny Mack Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Ramey Cemetery, Little Beaver, Elkhorn City, KY.
