Mona E. Childers, 71 of Belcher, KY was born on July 19, 1948 to Earl and Thelma Rogers Bartley. She passed away on July 18, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Mona was a cosmetologist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Childers and her mother, Thelma. Survivors are her father; Earl Bartley of Ashcamp, sons; Greg (Shawna) Childers of Morristown, TN., Robbie (Donica) Childers of Versailles, KY, daughters; Kristie (Missy) Childers of Pikeville KY and Brooke (Keith) Childers of Belcher, KY grandchildren; Eric Childers, Ian “Howie” Childers, Paxton Childers, Austin Taylor, Andrew, William Browning, Taylor Stone and Brandon Miller and two great grandchildren; Greyson and Lily Miller. Mona is also survived by sisters; Melissa (Kenny) Taylor of Harrodsburg, KY and Melinda Miller of Ashcamp, KY; nephews; Colby and Nicholas Taylor, Matthew and Morgan Miller and a host of other family, nephews and nieces. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 7:00 from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Ford officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-10:00PM on Monday from the chapel.
