Bobby Wayne Simpson, 52 of Hellier, KY passed away at Pikeville Medical Center on Friday, November 29, 2019. He was the son of Bobby Earl “Chippy” and Arnetta Gibson Simpson of Hellier, KY. He was a painter for Premium Contracting. In addition to his parents, Bobby is survived by a son, Brady Ethan of Pikeville, KY; two daughters; Marissa Paige Johnson of Shelbiana, KY and Kayla Sierra Simpson of Hellier, KY; and five grandchildren, Macyn Wayne Chaney, KyLee Combs, Fisher Case, Brayden and Paislee Johnson. Bobby is also survived by one brother, Michael Ray Simpson of OH and the mother of his children, Jamie England. Visitation will be after 6:00 Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Allegheny Freewill Baptist Church with service Tuesday at 7PM. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 1:00 with Richard Gibson, Ray Tackett and Richie Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Cook Cemetery at Marion’s Branch of Ashcamp, KY.
