Jeffery Allen Blankenship, 56 of Mouthcard, Ky. was born on Oct. 8, 1962 in Grundy, Va. to Everett Arthur and Helen Louise Osborne Blankenship. He passed away on Oct. 22, 2018 at the PikevilleMedical Center. Jeffery was a coal miner and a US Army Veteran. He is survived by a son; Daniel of Mouthcard, brothers; Billy of Steele and William of Mouthcard, sisters; Nannie of Johns Creek, Betty of Elkhorn City, Joyce of Steele, Janice of Feds Creek, Diane of Lick Creek, and Nadine of Steele. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother; William McClelland. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 11AM from Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Childress Cemetery at Mouthcard, Ky.
My condolences to the family. When loosing a loved one it can be unbearable. That is why God has provided scriptures in the Bible to help ones cope with the loss. In the Bible book of Isaiah 25:8 Jehovah God promises soon to “swallow up death forever.” He also promises to bring back those who have fallen asleep in death (Acts 24:15).
