Bobby Thornton King, 74

Bobby Thornton King, 74 of Belcher, KY passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at Pikeville Medical Center. Bobby was a retired coal truck driver and member of the Lick Creek Holiness Church. Bobby was born November 10, 1943 in Grundy, VA to the late Ellis King and Cora Ward King. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by one son, Jeffery Ellis King and five brothers Ewhaven, Curtis, Ellis Jr, Lacy & Boone King. Bobby is survived by his wife, Shirley Mullins King of Belcher, KY; two sons, Robert King of Lexington, KY and Gregory King, Dandridge, TN. Bobby is also survived by two brothers, Elster King of Regina, KY & Thaddeus King of Robinson Creek, KY. Visitation will be after 6PM Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Lick Creek Holiness Church. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 26, 2018 at 12PM from the church with Ray Sayers & Rick Fuller officiating. Burial will follow at the Spears Cemetery, Belcher, KY.

    Bobby and the King family have been neighbors and close friends since early child hood, I will miss him. Shirley you have my deepest sympathy, Bob was a good and Godly man.
