Phillip Johnson, 76 of Jenkins, Ky. passed away on Feb. 28, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on April 13, 1940 in Pike County, Ky. to Russell and Madge Childers Johnson. Phillip was an employee of C & O Railroad. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Fayetta Johnson,brothers; Peter and Ike, sisters; Pina Flinchem and Polly Ann Johnson. Survivors are a son; John Phillip Johnson of Maysville, Ky., a daughter; Beverly Marshall of Jenkins, step-daughter; Cheryl Gillis of Franklin, Ohio, brothers; Randall of Elkhorn City, Ky. and Paul of Dorton, Ky., sisters; Phyllisteen Reed and Sue Parson both of Paintsville, and Patricia Cornett of Virginia, grandchildren; Amber McCoy, Mykiah Arnett, Allie Gillis,& Chase Gillis, great grandchildren; Cloi McCoy”Toodlie Doo” and Kashanda McCoy. Phillip was of the Christian faith. Services will be held at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, 1:00, Friday with Willis Bartley, Oscar Damron and John Phillip Johnson officiating. Visitation will be at the chapel from 6:00-10:00 on Thursday. Burial will follow in the Wallace Cemetery at Kettle Camp, Ky.

So sorry for your loss. Sorry i can’t be there, just found out and i’m in NC. Phillip and Pete were always so good about coming to funerals in dads family.
