Crystal Wright Massie, 36 of Springfield, OH passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at her residence. Crystal was born September 22, 1979 in Wise, VA to John Ed Wright of Pound, VA and Lottie Bartley of Springfield, OH. Besides her parents Crystal is survived by three sons, Zackary Wright, Joseph Massie & Daniel Wright all of Pound, VA , one daughter, Rhiley Wright of Springfield, OH and one grandchild. She is also survived by one brother, Scotty Potter of Elkhorn City, KY and four sisters, Patricia Holmes of South Carolina, Tina Justice of Pikeville, KY, Lori Mullins of Pound, VA & Charla Martin of Winchester, KY. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday evening, January 27, 2016 at 7PM from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 6-10PM.
You all know how much I loved Crystal. You boys know I love you all too. I still can’t imagine you all being as old as you are. Please know it breaks my heart.

Crystal I remember you working for Family and Youth Initiatives. You had such great promise and hope. We all prayed for you and hoped you could get your life together. You loved your boys so much and you always hoped you could have them in your life. I will miss you Crystal and pray for your children. What a sad event — that could have been prevented. We, as an organization, will keep fighting this fight for you.
Thank you so much for the kind words. Crystal straightened up her life many times, but the battle of drugs always won. She wanted to be clean and sober and be a good mother. This epidemic is heart breaking and I have so much respect for people battling this war. I pray that you are able to change many lives.
