Dewey Grizzle, 82 of Mouthcard, Ky. was born on Sept. 2, 1941, and passed away on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, at his home. He was the son of William and Lydia Taylor Grizzle who preceded him in death. Dewey was a coal miner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Joyce Ann Milbuar Grizzle, a daughter; Barbara Ann, a son; Dewey Franklin Jr. and several brothers and sisters. Survivors are daughters: Melissa (Raymond) Anderson of Phyllis, Ky. and Freida (Mose(deceased) Skeens of Mouthcard, Ky. 3 grandchildren; Nathan Anderson, Katelyn Anderson and Destiny (Douglas) Jones and 3 great- grandchildren; Jarrett Jones, Nova Jones and Memphis. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023 from 6:00 PM-10:00PM with a service at 7:00. The funeral service will be Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023, at 1:00 in the chapel with Jessie Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery-Mouthcard, Ky.
