Kermit Ratliff, 71

Kermit Ratliff, 71 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Friday, April 3, 2015. Kermit was born June 26, 1943 in Pikeville, KY to the late Harlan Ratliff & Dicie Adkins Ratliff. Kermit is survived by three sons, Kermit Edward Ratliff & Harlan Keith Ratliff both of Johns Creek, KY and Terry Thacker of Knot County, four daughters, Melita Meade of Johns Creek, KY, Denise Conley of Elkhorn City, KY, Anita Sue Charles of Raccoon, KY & Angel Ratliff of Shelbiana, KY; seven grandchildren & five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Jimmy Ratliff of Pikeville, KY & three sisters, Charlene Higgins & Norma Bolden both of Akron, OH and Carol Sue Hurley of Kimper, KY. Visitation will be after 6PM Saturday, April 4 & Sunday, April 5 at the Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church, Draffin, KY. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 6, 2015 at 11AM from the church. Burial will follow at the Ratliff Cemetery, Pikeville, KY.

    So sorry and praying for the family of Kermit Ratliff he was a good man and never knew a stranger he had a heart of gold and was there for anybody in need and was a hard worker and had lots of friends he was a loving & caring man god has better plans for him and he’s pain free so R.I.P.     Uncle Kermit this is from Clay & Brenda Slone we love you always and you will be missed you was always good too us and was there for us when we needed you I know you will be in a better place and pain free you will always be in our hearts and hope to meet you in the future please tell daddy (Billy Joe) we love him!!!
