Ruth Lewis, 74 of Steele, KY passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 at her residence. Ruth was a retired custodian for the Pike County Board of Education. She was born January 25, 1948 in Sisco, KY to the late Charlie Johnson and Alta Hart Johnson. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Earl Scott Lewis, Jr., stepson, Erving Lee Lewis, brother Ralph Johnson and a grandchild, Andrea B. Thacker. Ruth is survived by a daughter, Edwina Lewis of Steele, KY; a step-daughter, Anna Bachelor of Lick Creek, KY; six grandchildren, Earl Scott Lewis, III, Angie Epling, Alice Stapleton, Tobi Lewis, Todd Lewis and Nyoka Sawaya; and eight great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11 AM at the Mt. View Church of Christ with Steve Cantrell officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM.
