Judith Corrin Moore Looney, 59 of Norfolk, VA, formerly of Shelby Gap, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 09, 2022, in Norfolk, VA. She was born July 11, 1962, to Leo and Mary Jo Stanton Moore. She is preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents, Max and Kathleen Stanton, and paternal grandparents, Clement and Gwendolyn (Childers) Moore.
Corrin was a 1980 graduate of Elkhorn City High School, a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
Corrin is survived by her husband, Dwight Looney of Norfolk, VA, sons, Stefan Moore and Christopher Looney, of Knoxville, TN; stepchildren, Matthew Looney, and wife, Samantha, Sean Looney, and Elizabeth Looney Rhett; two grandchildren, Riley and Dominick Moore, five step grandchildren, Byron, Levi, Georgia, Margaret, and Conner; brother, Ricky Moore and wife, Robin of Shelby Gap, KY, and sister, Joyce Moore Tucker of Pikeville, KY. She is also survived by nephews, William Ratliff of Pikeville, KY; Landon Moore of Georgetown, KY, and niece Alivia Ratliff Coleman of Pikeville, KY. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
She was a dear friend when we were in high school and remained my friend throughout adulthood. Sad for the family and you all are in my prayers. God bless and keep you in His loving care.
